Hathern C of E Primary School welcomes all children and their families without discrimination. We value everyone in our school community, celebrating and valuing our differences, our uniqueness and the fact that we are all equal.
The Equality Act (2010)

Teaching and Learning
We supplement our PSHE schemes of work using the 'Everyone's Welcome' approach to deliver a curriculum which encourages all pupils to feel a sense of belonging in their community and wider. Carefully selected, age-appropriate picture books are shared each half term which encourage pupils to reflect and discuss on how we can create a school and community ethos where everyone feels welcome, irrespective of difference.
The book lists and lesson plans are available below.
