To celebrate Sport Relief, this year at Hathern CE Primary School we are joining forces with East Leake Academy (ELA) to assist them in their challenge to run, swim, cycle or row the distance from ELA to the Gold Coast in Australia, hosts of the 2018 Commonwealth Games. That's 10,279miles!
From the 17th-23rd March our PE lessons, lunch and break times will consist of activities that encourage your child (and their teachers) to achieve as many steps as possible using the schools new Fitbands. The 'Whatever Moves You: Do it for Sport Relief' House Trophy will be presented to the House with the most steps! There are no sponsor forms from us this year, instead we are hoping to raise as much money as possible through your kind donations. Any spare change you may have please send in to the school via your child's class teacher or the office with the attached slip. Comic Relief uses the money you raise for Sport Relief to tackle critical issues affecting people across the UK and the world. |
