 At Hathern Primary School the children in year 1 now benefit from a continuous provision approach to their learning. This means that everything is taught in accordance with the national curriculum but alongside this, resources and areas within the learning environment also promote learning through play and exploration. The school days in year 1 are structured in a way which enables the inclusion of many different elements; supporting the development of all the children  both socially and academically.

Our PE days are on Monday and Friday this term. You can arrive at school in your school PE kit. Please make sure you are suitably prepared for the weather.
