• Cleaning an area with our usual disinfectant after someone with suspected coronavirus (COVID-19) has left school to reduce the risk of passing the infection on to other people. Paying particular attention to frequently touched areas and surfaces, such as toilets, grab-rails on doors and door handles.
• if an area has been heavily contaminated, such as with visible bodily fluids, from a person with coronavirus (COVID-19), staff should use protection for the eyes, mouth and nose, as well as wearing gloves and an apron. Waste should be double bagged and stored safely away from children and kept aside for 72 hours before disposing of in general waste.
