Clubs
We are proud to offer a broad range of lunchtime and after school clubs open to all pupils. Many of our clubs are provided free of charge by our hardworking staff, whilst others are delivered by specialist providers incurring a small cost to parents. The clubs on offer change frequently, responding to needs identified by canvassing pupils and their parents.
We have run a a variety of clubs such as Box-fit, Cycling, Knitting, Street Dance, Drama, Cross Country, Football, ICT, Gymnastics, Cooking, Skipping, Collective Worship, Newspaper, Jewellery Making, Art, and Science. Something for everyone. In addition, Mr Hanford, our specialist Sports Coach, runs sessions everyday to support and encourage Healthy and Active lifestyles, prepare pupils for competitive sporting competitions, such as Football, Hockey, Cross Country and Tag Rugby and most of all have fun. Exciting Crafts Clubs are also available daily. Late Stay Mr Hanford is now offering new extended Late Stay Club from 4:30 - 5:30pm following on from Sports and Crafts. Sports ClubsOur inclusive Sports Clubs provide every child with the fantastic opportunity to extend their learning beyond the classroom and increase and develop their sporting knowledge and skill in wide variety of sports and activities.
Combining healthy living with our Healthy Schools status all our sports clubs offer our children delicious fruit and veggie snacks. FUNDAMENTALS OF MOVEMENT: NEW THIS TERM.... we are delighted to welcome back the Fundamentals of movement skills club to help support our children's physical development and confidence as well as Gymnastics, Multi-Sports, Mixed Football and Street Dance! A Breakfast Club is run in the Community Lounge at our Pasture Lane site from 7.30am each morning, providing breakfast and childcare.
At the end of the session, pupils are 'delivered' to their classteachers at either Pasture Lane or Cross Street.
