Lunch Menu
Our school lunches are provided by LTS Catering Services. There are currently 4 choices each day (available for all children) - Main option, Vegetarian option, Jacket Potato option and a grab bag/sandwich option. The menu runs on a 3 week cycle. A copy of these are sent home each time that they are updated, so that children can look at the menu at home with parents and decide what they would like each day. Children inform the class teacher of their choice during morning registration. Pupils are given a coloured wristband, depending on their choice, to ensure that they receive the correct meal in the dining hall.
There is also an assortment of bread, mixed salad, fresh fruit and yoghurt on offer.
If you would like another copy of the menu, these are available from the school office.
Meals are free for all children in Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2. Otherwise meals cost £2.85 per day. Payment can be made online (using schoolmoney) or via the office (cash or cheques made payable to Hathern CE Primary School).

- income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
- Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
- Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
- Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)
