A message from Ben Thank you for all your support and feedback during this difficult time. I hope we have done all we can to keep you and your children happy and safe.
The safety of the children and staff remains our overriding priority, we have liaised closely with Hathern CE Primary School to identify key protective measures and guidance in anticipation of these updated regulations. We’re following all appropriate government guidance available for schools and childcare settings to ensure we run a safe camp that still enables children to have an amazing time. Extended hours (08:30-15:30) will remain in order to maintain consistent child groups and allow drop-off and pick-up to be managed safely.
Also, when you book with us, if we’re unable to operate our camps you will be entitled to a 100% refund.*online booking admin fees apply
Hanford Sports: How are we preparing to provide a safe and secure environment for your child? As a company Hanford Sports is continually monitoring the evolving situation regarding COVID-19 in the UK. We want to reassure you that Hanford Sports internal risk assessments are ongoing and include monitoring the guidance of the Department for Education (DfE), Public Health England (PHE) and the NHS. Our priority will remain the welfare of our children, staff team and the wider community. We are therefore taking the necessary precautions and putting in place some additional measures to ensure the safe running of our camps:
As always we will continue to follow stringent hygiene practices. To assist us with this we encourage you to ensure your child is aware of the importance of this and the basic practices of the ‘catch it, bin it, kill it’ campaign. We are following DfE and PHE guidance to ensure that any staff, parents and children who are demonstrating any symptoms or having been exposed to the virus do not attend our Camp. We have increased our staff awareness around health and hygiene practices and our internal policy regarding COVID-19. We will also be supplying increased amounts of hand wash, hand sanitiser and tissues. We will ensure a strict handover process surrounding the cleanliness of each Pod venue. In the event of any of our children showing any signs of COVID-19 we will immediately follow our COVID19 Risk Assessment. In the run up to our Camp we would ask that if you or anyone in your household are demonstrating Covid 19 symptoms or have been exposed to the virus you contact us immediately to discuss your booking. In the event that we are forced to close due to the Coronavirus outbreak we will inform all parents immediately by email with as much notice as possible. In the event of a cancellation beyond our control we reserve the right to review and amend our cancellation policy.
