Hathern Primary School's Friends, Parents & Teachers Association
Who are we?
We are an enthusiastic group of parents and friends elected annually onto a Committee who, together with input from staff representatives, run the FPTA.
What do we do?
We raise much-needed funds for equipment and resources required to enhance your child's educational experience.
How do we do it?
Throughout the year we organise a diverse range of fun events, from summer and Christmas fayres for the whole community to discos and magic evenings for the children and pamper evenings for the parents. We also organise sales of Christmas cards and other gifts designed by the children.
How can you help?
You are an automatic member of the FPTA when your child joins our school and your donations of time, money, items for sale and offers of services and all invaluable and we are always looking for help behind the scenes at our events. In addition your suggestions on how to use existing skills or implement new ideas for fundraising are vital to the continuing success of the FPTA.
Interested?
Look out for FPTA notices of events, meetings and other important information displayed in the School Reception area and the Community Centre. These are also distributed on bright yellow paper through the book bags in class.
