Hathern CofE Sports Council

Here at Hathern we want our pupils to get the best experience from their sports and PE lessons, we have therefore decided to appoint a school sports council to help make decisions along side the teachers for how the pupils want sport in the school. 

Alongside Mr Collura & Mr Bailey, pupils will be involved in:

-Choosing how we use our Sainsbury's School Vouchers in  school
-Help organise mini competitions within school for foundation  class
-Keep an up to date blog of our achievements
-Maintain the school sports notice board up to date
-Be a representative for the rest of the school to put ideas and  opinions forward
-There may be opportunities for pupils to attend leadership  days to develop their skills
-pupils will have their own sports councillor badge to wear  around school
-They will help the school house captains organise their team  choices for house matches

Pupils will be helped every step of the way with their role and new sports councillors will be appointed each academic year.

We hope that this will be an exciting opportunity for the pupils of Hathern to further their leadership skills and have an input in their sporting development throughout the school.
