Things to remember: (written for Right Handed players so please reverse for left handed playing)
Want to play your favourite songs?
You can always have a look at ultimateguitar.com and try and find them! Make sure you transpose them using the transpose button so that you get a good playable selection of chords.
Usually if the song starts on a minor chord for example Dm, the transpose (move up or down) so the Dm becomes Am. AND if the song starts on a major chord for example G, then transpose up or down until the G becomes a C. This will usually give you very playable selection of chords! Most songs are playable anyway if you hover over the chord, it reveals the shape! Happy Practicing!
Stay safe and well!
- Sit comfortably on a chair (without arms) and don’t lean back in your chair.
- Keep your thumb behind your fingers in the left hand.
- Use your fingertips to push next to the frets with your left hand.
- Keep your right hand thumb rested when you play with walking fingers.
- Try to project a good sound when you play!
- Focus on a goal each time you practice!
