One parent, typical of many, commented that, 'This is a wonderful village school with a supportive, family like atmosphere'.

Welcome to our school |

You may already know something of our school or you may be finding out about us for the first time, whichever the case, I hope that you find our website helpful and hope that it provides a useful overview of our school.
We are a small, village primary school that works closely alongside a group of local schools in the Loughborough Primary Academy Partnership (LPAP). As a small school we have the same demands placed upon us as all of our larger neighbours. The education that we provide is as focused, relevant and stimulating as you might hope to find in any other school, but we have the added benefit of fewer pupils, where every child really does matter and where the need of the individual learner is given every consideration. The school is an important part of the village; part of a community that is vibrant and active. We recognise the benefits of developing effective relationships within our village community – as the village ‘reaches in’, we reach out, understanding that close liaison promotes cohesion within the community and enrichment to our wider curriculum. We are part of the 'Hathern Family'. To find out more about us take a look at the website or arrange a visit by contacting Cath Watson or Sharon Williams in the school office.
