Sports Day - 1st July 2021
A fantastic afternoon of sporting activity offering competition as well as full participation for all took place on the school field. The children were split into four teams - Red, Yellow, Green, Blue - and competed against their classmates across 10 different activities. Scores were awarded for finishing 1st, 2nd, etc. as well as teams receiving separate points for demonstrating positive sporting values.
A close run affair, the lead kept changing as results for each activity came in (overall scores can be seen below). It was neck and neck up until the final activity resulting in a great win for the Red Team. The Blue Team received the most Sporting Values points and so won that accolade.
Most importantly, all the children enjoyed themselves (as did the staff) and it was wonderful to finally have the whole school together. SD
