Just because school is closed doesn't mean we have to stop learning cool stuff! On this page you will find activities that you can do at home. I will regularly be uploading new activities and challenges so keep your eyes peeled! During your time at home spend some fun quality time with your family, play some games, read interesting books and help your family out! Good Morning Class 4,
Can you believe this is the last update of your home learning before the summer holidays?! The last few terms have flown by! I hope you have enjoyed some of your home learning, I know it has been a very strange end of the year for us all! You have been doing a brilliant job with your home learning so far and I know you will do just the same this half term. The way I upload home learning on here is going to change just slightly. Each week, I will put up a table, like the one below, to show Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s activities. Check out what is set for the day, then scroll down to find the links for each lesson. Thursday and Friday's activities will then be set on a Wednesday. This way, you can easily see what is to be done on each day and can see what is coming up next. Exciting news! Just a reminder, or for those of you who haven't seen my previous message, we will be having a class Zoom meeting on Thursday afternoon. Information about this has been sent out from the office to parents, so keep your eyes peeled for all the details and how to access it.
Before the Zoom call, I would like you to have a think about one activity that you have done while you have been at home that you would recommend to others in Class 4 to try. Today, we are starting a brand new English unit, based around a short film. I am not going to tell you too much about the film as I want you to do the investigating for yourself! This week we are learning and doing some prediction, based around what we think the film will be about. Look at the slides, they will have the lesson content and the activity all there for you. Keeping active is a really important part of staying healthy. Sometimes it's hard to remember to keep active, especially when we are staying at home more! Being active can be as simple as putting some music on and having a dance, to going for a walk with your family.
